What you will do

• Perform venepuncture safely and accurately to collect blood samples from volunteers.
• Conduct routine clinical observations, measuring blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and waist circumference.
• Accurately record clinical data using electronic systems.
• Monitor volunteer wellbeing during appointments, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Prepare, label, and package blood samples for laboratory transport.
• Provide a supportive and reassuring service to participants throughout their appointments.
• Assist with administrative tasks and ensure efficient participant flow in mobile clinics.
• Adhere to strict infection prevention, health and safety, and clinical governance protocols.
• Report any incidents promptly and engage in quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate effectively with the wider clinical team to provide a seamless service.
