What you will do
- Perform venepuncture safely and accurately to collect blood samples from volunteers.
- Conduct routine clinical observations, measuring blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and waist circumference.
- Accurately record clinical data using electronic systems.
- Monitor volunteer wellbeing during appointments, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Prepare, label, and package blood samples for laboratory transport.
- Provide a supportive and reassuring service to participants throughout their appointments.
- Assist with administrative tasks and ensure efficient participant flow in mobile clinics.
- Adhere to strict infection prevention, health and safety, and clinical governance protocols.
- Report any incidents promptly and engage in quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider clinical team to provide a seamless service.
