What you will do

• Perform a comprehensive range of general radiographic examinations within inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and theatre environments.
• Produce consistently high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care, dignity, and safety.
• Rotate across designated imaging areas, including general X-ray, mobile radiography, emergency imaging, and fluoroscopy services.
• Adhere to Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R), Ionising Radiations Regulations (IRR), and local radiation protection procedures.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Postgraduate imaging training or specialist modality exposure desirable.

Registration & Compliance

• HCPC Registered Radiographer.
• Sound knowledge of IR(ME)R 2017 and Ionising Radiations Regulations.
• Understanding of NHS Clinical Governance, Quality Standards in Imaging (QSI) and patient safety frameworks.
• Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and Equality Act 2010 principles.
