Overview:
Step into a pivotal locum role within Nottingham’s Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team. This Band 6 CPN position allows you to make a tangible impact on individuals aged 14–65 experiencing first-episode psychosis, while enjoying the flexibility and variety that locum work provides. What You Will Do:
- Conduct assessments for service users referred to the EIP Team.
- Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans collaboratively with service users.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, including Family Interventions and CBT-informed care.
- Administer medication safely, including depots when required.
- Use outcome measures such as HoNOS, QPR, and DIALOG to monitor progress.
- Provide clear information to service users, families, and carers regarding care plans, access, and confidentiality.
- Build supportive relationships with service users and their families.
- Utilize digital technologies to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor and update risk management plans; ensure regular physical health checks.
- Collaborate with General Practitioners, Consultant Psychiatrists, Inpatient Services, and other professionals.
- Promote a culture of recovery, empowerment, and informed decision-making.
