What you will do:

  • Oversee the clinical management of a caseload of service users aged 14-65, offering tailored care and support.
  • Participate in the duty rota, including service-wide triage work, providing backup for assessments and working with the North team.
  • Encourage and support clients to actively engage in their treatment programmes and recovery processes.
  • Promote self-help where possible, maintaining clients' skills and independence.
  • Support health promotion initiatives and offer consultation to other community services and agencies regarding individual clients and mental health matters.
  • Adhere to safeguarding principles for children and vulnerable adults as per Trust Policy and local procedures.
  • Engage in safeguarding section 42 investigations.
  • Conduct specialist mental health assessments as needed, following the Mental Capacity Act 2007, The Mental Health Act, and local safeguarding procedures.
  • Perform and document comprehensive risk assessments, creating and implementing risk management plans using the Risk Assessment Tool for clients at risk.
