Join our team as a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner - Triage/Duty Team within Children's Mental Health in the picturesque town of Stowmarket, UK. This exciting locum opportunity offers a competitive hourly salary and full-time work with a dynamic team. You will work office-based for three days a week in Stowmarket at Haymills House on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and for two days in Ipswich at Mariner House. Experience in Young Adult Mental Health Services (YAMHS) and Crisis Work is essential, as is the ability to manage local systems confidently. This ongoing role is perfect for self-starters who can work independently with minimal supervision. What you will do:

• Undertake duty tasks, including crisis support three days a week, to assist with discharges, screenings, and welfare calls.
• Offer face-to-face assessments and develop personalised formulations for children's mental health.
• Provide treatment sessions and screen incoming referrals to identify the best course of action for clients.
• Manage referrals to Home Treatment Teams and Mental Health Act assessments, and assist in stepping down to wellbeing programs.
• Conduct double-up visits to ensure comprehensive support for your clients.
