What you will do:

• Engage in thorough research and analysis to understand relevant laws, regulations, and best practices, ensuring policies remain accurate and compliant with the Care Act 2014.
• Develop, write, and structure new policies, procedures, and guidelines that are not only clear and consistent but also easily understood by all stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, managers, and legal teams to gather input, making sure that policies accurately reflect current laws and regulations.
• Focus on clarity and accessibility, ensuring that all documents are written in plain language so that they can be effectively implemented by employees and understood by the public.

Working from Room 700, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, you will closely collaborate with key leaders involved in implementing the charging policy. Reporting directly to the Strategic Service Manager for Adult Social Care Finance, you will play a crucial role in shaping practical guidance that aligns with national standards.
