This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join a dynamic team in the heart of Cambridge. What you will do:

• Triage all new referrals within required timeframes, adhering to the 72-hour standard.
• Review referral information to identify risk, urgency, and suitability.
• Complete initial clinical risk assessments and support clinical decision-making.
• Prioritise referrals based on presenting need and level of risk.
• Make clear decisions regarding acceptance, allocation, onward referral, or signposting as appropriate.
• Liaise with families, young people, and professionals to gather any missing or clarifying information.
• Provide timely advice and guidance to referrers and partner agencies.
• Book and offer initial appointments where appropriate.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation on clinical systems.
• Escalate safeguarding and high-risk cases in accordance with local procedures.
• Work closely with crisis teams and treatment pathways to support safe transitions.
• Contribute to maintaining safe triage flow and reducing waiting times.
• Participate in team meetings and engage in supervision sessions.
