What you will do:

• Execute all aspects of routine histopathology lab duties, especially microtomy sectioning like standard, mega, singles, levels and cores
• Conduct routine H&E staining using the Leica Spectra and expertly embed all types of histology specimens
• Ensure you successfully pass the in-house UKAS standard competency assessment within two days of starting
• Operate all existing equipment supplied by Leica with minimal training, demonstrating your extensive relevant experience
• Maintain your HCPC registration and, by doing so, uphold the high standards we expect in our laboratory setting
• Be ready to travel as needed, a valid driver's licence is required for this role, ensuring you can readily access different locations
