What you will do

• Perform microtomy of histology tissue samples to a high standard.

• Undertake precise tissue embedding and support routine Histopathology laboratory processes.

• Conduct general Biomedical Scientist duties and ensure accurate specimen handling and processing.

• Maintain laboratory quality and safety standards, upholding best practices in all tasks.

Requirements

• Experience working within a Histopathology laboratory.

• Competence in microtomy and tissue embedding.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy diagnostic environment with strong attention to detail.

• Prior experience as a Biomedical Scientist.

Desirable Requirements

• Recent NHS Histopathology experience is a plus.

• Ability to manage a broad range of Histopathology tasks, showing flexibility and expertise.

• Familiarity with UK laboratory quality systems.
