Band 6 Anatomical Pathology Technologist within Anatomical Pathology in Cambridge UK earning £26 Hourly. ASAP Start – Ongoing. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an enthusiastic Anatomical Pathology Technologist to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. With a commitment of 22.5 hours per week ideally scheduled Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 12:00 or 08:00 to 12:30 to cover post-mortem work, this role offers flexibility with hours that can be discussed.

What you will do:

- Conduct detailed post-mortem examinations ensuring meticulous documentation of findings.
- Prepare and maintain the mortuary and post-mortem equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Assist with the management and care of deceased patients with empathy and respect.
- Liaise effectively with medical staff and external agencies regarding post-mortem procedures and requirements.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Record and manage data with accuracy, contributing to robust record-keeping and reporting.

Requirements:

- Minimum Level 3 APT Diploma required, Level 4 desirable but not essential.
- Two years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid HCPC registration.
- Car driver preferable for ease of travel to various sites.
