What You Will Do

• Oversee daily management of staff within the plaster room, ensuring efficient casting and splinting services.

• Apply and remove casts and braces confidently, including complex theatre applications.

• Deliver exceptional patient care, promoting safe mobility and comprehensive treatment planning.

• Support fracture clinics through chaperoning duties and wound care management.

• Maintain and manage equipment within the Plaster Room and Fracture Clinic.

• Train and mentor general nurses in advanced plastering and splinting techniques.

• Contribute to leadership responsibilities, including budget oversight and liaising with procurement teams.

• Participate in daily trauma meetings, offering expert guidance to multidisciplinary teams.
