What you will do:

• Provide leadership and professional knowledge to colleagues, promoting innovation and facilitating reflective practice.

• Work with vulnerable adults with complex needs, using a Strength-Based and Enabling model to assess their needs.

• Develop support plans to help adults and their carers achieve independence, maintain relationships, and be valued community members.

• Undertake leadership roles, deputising for managers and leading on safeguarding inquiries as required.

• Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting them in overcoming challenges and resolving dilemmas.

• Maintain fitness to practice by meeting professional regulatory requirements and upholding the reputation of the profession.

• Lead, supervise, and mentor less experienced social workers, ensuring high standards of practice.

• Contribute to a busy duty system and make essential decisions to support team managers.

• Engage in community development and resource management, utilizing local networks and groups.

• Record and report information accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal frameworks.
