What you will do:

• Undertake safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014, ensuring timely and proportionate responses to safeguarding concerns
• Complete strengths-based assessments, care planning, and reviews for adults with complex physical, mental health, learning disability, or social care needs
• Develop safeguarding plans and risk management strategies in partnership with service users, carers, and multi-agency professionals
• Work collaboratively with Health services, Police, housing providers, care agencies, and advocacy services to coordinate safeguarding interventions

Person Specification:

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)
• Evidence of continued professional development relevant to adult safeguarding practice

Registration & Compliance

• Registered with Social Work England
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding adults procedures
• Understanding of Human Rights legislation, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), and strengths-based practice frameworks
