Are you ready for an exciting and fulfilling opportunity? We are currently seeking three skilled Adults Social Workers to join our Hospital Team in Cornwall for a rewarding 3-month role. Offering a competitive rate of £32.50 hourly, this full-time position requires a commitment of 37 hours per week, with the possibility of condensed hours and hybrid working arrangements. Please note, the role is not open to remote-only candidates. You must be able to commute for face-to-face visits at least two days a week.

What you will do:
- Conduct Care Act assessments and consider Mental Capacity and Best Interests decisions to facilitate hospital discharge.
- Follow up on assessments in Discharge to Assess placements.
- Work collaboratively as part of a busy and supportive team, alongside health colleagues.
- Navigate cases that may involve the Court of Protection, building on your existing knowledge and experience.
- Travel across the county to undertake face-to-face assessments in hospitals, care homes, or individual homes. Access to a car is required.

What skills are required for the job:
- Qualified social worker status with experience working with adults, preferably in a hospital team.
- Practical experience with Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity, and Best Interests decisions.
- Desirable: experience with Court of Protection cases.
- Flexibility to travel and conduct face-to-face assessments.
