Role Highlights

In this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will:

  • Earn up to £570 per week while working full-time, term-time only

  • Work with children aged 4-11, providing support for those with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH challenges

  • Receive full training, so you can build essential skills and knowledge in SEN support

  • Gain invaluable experience for future careers in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or SEN teaching

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Supporting students with SEN during lessons and in one-to-one or small group interventions

  • Assisting with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and personalized learning strategies

  • Creating a calm and inclusive classroom environment that fosters emotional regulation and builds student confidence

  • Encouraging the development of communication skills, social interaction, and self-esteem

  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide tailored support for each child
