Graduate Academic Mentor – Secondary School | Wolverhampton

Location: Wolverhampton
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM 
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: £500 – £570 per week

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education? This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant, inclusive secondary school committed to helping students succeed both academically and personally.

As a Graduate Academic Mentor, you’ll provide one-to-one and small group support, particularly in core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science. You’ll also assist in the classroom, help with exam preparation, and work closely with staff to identify students needing extra academic support.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support learning through 1:1 and small group sessions

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons

• Help students with revision, homework, and exam strategies

• Encourage confidence, resilience, and motivation

• Monitor student progress and adapt support as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• A recent graduate (2:1 or above) in a relevant subject

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine interest in working with young people

• Previous experience with children/teens (tutoring, mentoring, youth work) is a plus
