A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in teaching, educational psychology, or special educational needs (SEN).

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to help students aged 11–16 thrive in their learning. Your role will involve supporting pupils in and out of the classroom, delivering one-to-one and small group interventions, and helping learners overcome barriers to progress—particularly in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.

This position is ideal for Psychology graduates interested in child development and behaviour, or for anyone considering a future in teaching or SEN support. You don’t need previous school experience—full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support student learning across core subjects

• Deliver small group and one-to-one academic support

• Assist with behaviour management and classroom activities

• Adapt learning materials to meet student needs

• Work closely with pupils with SEN or SEMH
