What you will do:
- Collaborate effectively with children and families to address their social, emotional, and environmental needs, placing their wishes at the forefront of decision-making.
- Safeguard and promote the well-being of vulnerable children and young people through high-quality service delivery.
- Assess risks and needs, crafting and co-ordinating services that ensure optimum outcomes for children and families.
- Apply social work theory, relevant legislation, policy, and procedures to operate independently and efficiently.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children by collecting and thoroughly analysing necessary information for assessments.
- Participate in fulfilling statutory responsibilities which may include court representation.
- Attend meetings to share and update information, make crucial decisions, and review progress regularly.
- Develop, review, and drive multi-agency outcome-focused plans for children and young people.
- Carry out day duty tasks as required, including phone calls, visits, and meeting attendance.
Essential: Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in providing through care or equivalent social work practice.
