Key Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Team Manager as necessary to ensure smooth operations.

  • Manage risk effectively on organisational, professional, and individual levels.

  • Uphold national and departmental professional practice standards, promoting personal development.

  • Lead and support teams to achieve organisational goals and drive quality improvements.

  • Efficiently manage resources, control expenditure, and assist in budget management.

  • Make informed decisions regarding referral responses and assist with work allocation.

  • Support staff management, development, and training in collaboration with the Team Manager.

  • Contribute to continuous quality performance and implement quality assurance systems.

  • Ensure desired outcomes for individuals, families, and carers while promoting strategic aims.

  • Adhere to policies and procedures, promoting safe practice and safeguarding processes.

  • Facilitate, chair, and participate in complaint investigations and safeguarding forums.

  • Manage change effectively and contribute to recruitment processes.

  • Engage in ongoing development and improvement of systems and services for excellence in delivery.
