A friendly and supportive primary school in Stafford is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 to July 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, develop your skills, and make a lasting impact on young learners.

Your Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant

In this role, you will:

• Support class teachers in delivering creative and engaging lessons across the curriculum

• Work with pupils individually and in small groups to provide personalised academic support

• Assist with classroom organisation, daily routines, and behaviour management

• Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping meet their unique learning and emotional needs

• Prepare learning materials and contribute to lesson planning and classroom activities

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all pupils

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

• A graduate (or graduating in 2025) with a minimum 2:1 degree – particularly in Education, Psychology, or related fields

• Passionate about child development and education

• A proactive, enthusiastic, and reliable team player

• Patient and compassionate, with strong communication skills

• Available full-time from September 2025 to July 2026

• Experience with children is beneficial but not essential
