STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant – Wolverhampton
Location: Wolverhampton
Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Salary: £500–£570 per week
Start Date: September 2025

Who We’re Looking For

Holds a 2:1 or higher degree in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related subject

Has a genuine interest in working with young people and exploring a career in education

Possesses strong communication skills and an enthusiastic, proactive attitude

Is willing to learn, reflect and adapt to support students with different learning needs

(Desirable) Has previous experience working with young people, though this is not essential
The Role – STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant
As a STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play an active role in supporting teaching and learning in your subject area. You will:

Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic interventions in STEM subjects

Help students prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams, offering tailored support to boost progress

Work closely with experienced subject teachers and pastoral staff

Build your classroom confidence and develop your leadership and teaching skills

Gain valuable experience ahead of a teacher training pathway starting in 2026
