Our Client has a requirement for a Software Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Epsom / Remote

Role Purpose:

To support the delivery of custom applications and assist in migrating legacy applications to modern technologies as part of the client’s evolving IT Services model.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver custom applications to meet business needs.
• Migrate older applications to newer technologies.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Apply DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

Experience: 8–10 years in software engineering.

Mandatory Skills:

• .NET Core using C#
• Entity Framework Core
• Razor Pages
• Blazor
• JavaScript

Secondary Skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Azure cloud services: Web Apps, Hybrid Connections, Storage, Application Insights, Containerization, Azure Active Directory, Azure Automation, Key Vault, SQL Database
• Experience with on-premises SQL services
• Strong background in DevOps practices, including backlog management, source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps

Other Requirements:

• BPSS clearance required
