Stansted - 3 days per week onsite

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Qualifications Required: Chartered Engineer (ICE) – Civil and Mechanical qualifications including structures

Job Description

We are seeking two highly motivated and experienced Project Engineers to support the delivery of the a Transformation Programme. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering works across civil infrastructure, buildings, mechanical & electrical systems, and airfield pavements.

This role is ideal for engineers with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects within live operational environments, ideally with or working towards Chartered Engineer status.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of engineering packages across civils, buildings, M&E, and pavements.
• Act as technical lead for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and airport operational requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Review design documentation, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are maintained.
• Provide engineering input into procurement, contract management, and change control processes.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of completed assets.
• Maintain accurate project records and contribute to reporting and governance activities.
