About the Role – Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning in subjects such as Maths, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Computer Science, and Engineering. Working alongside experienced teachers, you’ll help deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted academic interventions, and support students in reaching their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions

Assist with lesson planning, classroom activities, and resource preparation

Support students preparing for GCSEs and A-Levels

Help develop engaging and inclusive teaching strategies

Gain valuable insight into diverse educational needs and approaches
Candidate Profile – Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from passionate and enthusiastic STEM graduates who are:

Educated to degree level with a 2:1 or above in a STEM field (e.g., Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science)

Confident in explaining subject content and supporting learners of all abilities

Reliable, professional, and committed to making a difference

Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Ideally experienced in working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, outreach)

Interested in pursuing a career in teaching, education, or academic research
