With your expertise, you'll be working closely with your Team Manager, providing professional leadership and supporting the efficient operations of the Assessment and Intervention team.

What you will do:

- Provide professional leadership and supervision within the team, supporting your manager with daily operations and ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Manage a smaller, complex caseload, working directly with children and families to undertake detailed assessments and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Mentor and share your knowledge with colleagues and students to uplift practice standards, encouraging opportunities for reflection and development.
- Work within a multi-agency environment to manage and address the complex needs of families, delivering high-quality social care practices.
- Lead improvements and challenge practice quality constructively, using post-qualifying experiences and ongoing training initiatives.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have substantial post-qualifying experience at the Experienced Social Worker level. You'll possess a keen ability to work with families with complex needs, demonstrate leadership in mentoring and training peers, and continually strive for excellence in social work practices.
