Social Work Team Manager - Birmingham, Earning £41.42 Hourly, 3 Month Locum Contract

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage a team of social workers to ensure high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Oversee complex cases, including those involving Duty, Child Protection, and Section 47, and Children in Need (CIN) work.
  • Provide supervision and support to social workers while managing performance to meet organisational goals.
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to case planning and reviews, ensuring the best possible results for children and families.
  • Use the Eclipse case management system to efficiently manage and track cases and ensure compliance with all statutory guidelines and procedures.


Requirements:

  • A strong background in Duty, Child Protection, and Section 47, as well as CIN work, is essential.
  • The ability to work at pace and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Experience using the Eclipse case management system is a plus, although training can be provided.
  • Open to newly qualified social workers and strong family support workers with experience in assessments and working with Children in Need plans.
