Social Worker - Duty & Assessment Team - Full Time - in Wigan (UK), earning £38 Hourly.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join the dynamic Duty & Assessment Team in Wigan for a 3-month locum position. What you will do:
- Conduct expert assessments and deliver interventions at the first point of contact with families, identifying their needs and providing tailored support.
- Work with a team consisting of a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, Senior Social Worker, and six qualified Social Workers to manage a variety of cases, ensuring a collaborative approach to effective social work.
- Take part in the five-week Duty cycle, where your passionate involvement in the process will contribute to important family decisions and transitions.
- Work in partnership with children, young people, and families to empower them in finding sustainable solutions and achieving long-term plans.
- Use your excellent analytical skills to critically assess and interpret information, manage risks effectively, and address complex challenges with creative solutions.
