Location: Hillington
Job Type: Full-Time, PAYE
Schedule: Monday to Friday (overnights) 19:00 start times
Pay Rate:
- Mon- Fri £18.00 per hour
- Weekend Rate £20 per hour
- Overnights £26
Shift Length: Overnights
About the Company:
Join a well-established transport and logistics provider based in Hillington, known for delivering exceptional service across the UK. They specialise in trunking and palletised distribution, ensuring efficient and reliable deliveries for a range of industries.
We are seeking experienced Class 1 Night Drivers for trunking and trailer swaps operations only. This includes Single-Trunk Runs down south for overnight shifts. This can be either part time or full time shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out single trunking operations with no handball
- Drive safely and efficiently in compliance with transport regulations.
- Ensure accurate paperwork and E-pod documentation when required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Previous trunking experience
- Ability to work in both single manned operations
- Strong understanding of transport regulations and safety procedures
- Must be over 23 for Insurance purposes
- 2 years Class 1 experience is required with no DD,DR on licence
