Your Role

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, and communication or emotional difficulties

• Assist teachers in adapting lessons and learning activities to meet individual needs

• Help pupils develop vital skills such as confidence, communication, and independence

• Support behaviour strategies and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• Monitor progress and work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to ensure personalised support

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated graduate who:

• Holds (or is on track for) a 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Education, or a related field

• Has prior experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in schools, care settings, or through voluntary roles)

• Is calm, patient, empathetic, and adaptable in their approach

• Is genuinely interested in a long-term career in education, child development, or therapeutic support
