Warehouse Supervisor - Mon To Fri in Waltham Abbey, East Of England

Are you an experienced warehouse operative ready to take ownership of a key operational role?

My client is one of the biggest Fast Casual brands and is expanding rapidly in the UK, with 10 restaurants currently and 5–6 new outlets opening over the next two years.

They are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to manage day to day operations in our Waltham Abbey distribution hub, ensuring all ambient, fresh and frozen products reach our restaurants on time.

Main Duties – Manage the Warehouse End-to-End:

• Oversee daily operations: receiving, checking and booking-in all incoming deliveries.
• Use a forklift to off-load and organise stock, ensuring FIFO rotation.
• Manage and reconcile all outbound restaurant orders.
• Build 10–20 ambient pallets weekly for store distribution and coordinate with hauliers.
• Enter orders into the warehouse management system and maintain accurate stock records.
• Liaise with Head Office, suppliers and logistics partners to coordinate shipments.
• Track deliveries, manage weekly/monthly scheduling, and handle any logistical issues.
• Maintain warehouse organisation and cleanliness, conducting regular stock checks.
• Support catering and kitchen equipment logistics across the restaurant network.
• Uphold Health & Safety and Risk Assessment documentation for best practice operations.

Experience & Skills:

• 2–3+ years in warehouse distribution, order preparation or food logistics.
• Strong IT and systems skills; able to pick up new warehouse platforms quickly.
• Forklift licence preferred (training provided for the right candidate).
• Valid UK driving licence (essential); ability to drive a 3.5T truck desirable.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
