Your Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication or emotional difficulties

  • Work alongside class teachers to adapt learning materials and activities to suit individual learning styles

  • Encourage pupils to build essential life skills, such as confidence, independence, and effective communication

  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment through proactive behaviour support

  • Monitor and report pupil progress to the SENCo and teaching staff, contributing to personalised learning plans

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate graduate who:

  • Has recently completed a degree, ideally with a 2:1 or higher in Psychology, Education, or a related field

  • Has experience working with children or young people with SEN—whether in school, care, or volunteer settings

  • Demonstrates a calm, patient, and adaptable approach to learning and behaviour support

  • Has a strong interest in pursuing a career in education, child development, or a related field such as speech therapy or educational psychology
