We’re offering a fantastic full-time locum opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Social Services in Westminster. What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of complex care clients with physical, cognitive, and environmental needs requiring advanced OT input.

• Conduct home visits to assess risks, functional needs, and suitability for adaptations and equipment.

• Complete manual handling assessments and implement safe handling plans using hoists, slings, and mobility aids.

• Prescribe and coordinate major home adaptations such as stairlifts, ramps, and through-floor lifts.

• Provide strong clinical reasoning and documentation for high-cost adaptations and equipment.

• Work closely with housing teams, surveyors, and contractors to ensure safe and appropriate installation.

• Support hospital discharges and prevent admissions by facilitating timely intervention and provision.

• Maintain accurate, legally compliant records and contribute to safeguarding enquiries and funding panels.

• Provide supervision and peer support to junior staff and promote safe practice in manual handling.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
