As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils across KS3 and KS4, working alongside experienced teachers to build your skills and confidence in a school setting.

 Key Responsibilities

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide both 1-1 and small group intervention sessions to learners across KS3, 4 & 5
• Build meaningful relationships with students that will positively influence their school experience
• Be present in lessons to aid learning outcomes set by the teacher
• Enjoy the opportunity to plan your own tutoring sessions aimed at deepening understandings with a range of learners
• Receive weekly training opportunities to strengthen your educational practice and skillset

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed as a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you should have:

• A recent or soon-to-be Mathematics (Or related subject) graduate with a 2:1 or higher
• A genuine interest in working with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and supportive attitude
• An interest to train as a teacher in the future
• Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
