Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of five Family Workers delivering frontline CIN services.

• Supervise and support workers through weekly case supervision, practice observation, and escalation of risks.

• Provide quality assurance and oversight of assessments, care plans, and documentation.

• Collaborate with Team Managers on case allocation, ensuring workloads are effectively balanced.

• Champion best practice and professional standards within a locality-based, multi-agency context.

• Promote positive engagement with families, community partners, and internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified and registered Social Worker with substantial experience in Children In Need or safeguarding roles.

• Proven capability in supervision, mentoring, or team leadership.

• Strong knowledge of Children’s Social Care legislation, CIN processes, and family-centred practice.

• A commitment to driving innovation and quality in service delivery.
