Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-checking and final release of aseptically compounded products to ensure clinical safety and compliance.

• Lead on the release of pre-filled Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) medications, contributing to patient treatment continuity and confidence.

• Perform clinical screening of chemotherapy prescriptions, including oncology and haematology regimens, with accuracy and precision.

• Deliver expert clinical input to healthcare teams, promoting safe, effective prescribing and medication use.

• Ensure compliance with GPhC regulations and maintain up-to-date professional registration.

• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to support seamless medication management and clinical care pathways.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

• Extensive hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in oncology or aseptic services.

• Excellent working knowledge of clinical screening procedures and aseptic product handling.

• A valid UK driving licence to support occasional travel across sites, if required.

• Strong communication, analytical, and clinical decision-making skills.
