What you will do:
- Deliver tenacious, flexible, dynamic, and proactive interventions using the Breaking Cycles methodology.
- Act as the lead in carrying out statutory social work duties for young individuals involved in or at risk of serious offending or exploitation.
- Build strong relationships and tailor interactions with young people, identifying the right moment to make impactful connections.
- Manage a personal budget of £2000 per young person to aid their journey towards success.
- Offer comprehensive support both in traditional settings and through meaningful activities outside office hours and on weekends.
- Collaborate with families and professional networks to address underlying trauma and barriers to change.
- Actively participate in the SHiFT Practice, taking part in weekly discussions and contributing to a culture of learning and evaluation.
About the role: As a SHiFT Guide, you will leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional outcomes, working closely with up to six young people to drive change and promote positive opportunities.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
