What you will do:

  • Lead the Court Team in handling complex cases, offering guidance and expertise to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including legal teams, to streamline court processes and ensure children’s welfare.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of court reports, statements, and assessments.
  • Act as a mentor and advisor to less experienced social workers, sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience to elevate team performance.
  • Participate in court proceedings, offering expert testimony and supporting the judicial process as required.
  • Proactively engage with ongoing changes in legislation and practice, ensuring the service remains efficient and compliant.
