Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy interventions to female patients within an acute mental health setting.

  • Develop and implement care plans that support recovery, functionality, and reintegration into the community.

  • Manage a range of complex clinical presentations, demonstrating excellent clinical reasoning and therapeutic judgement.

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care plans and patient-centred decision-making.

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with HCPC standards and professional best practices.

  • Engage in reflective practice and supervision, continually striving to improve outcomes for service users.


Candidate Requirements

  • Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy.

  • Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Experience: Previous experience in acute mental health or a related mental health setting is highly desirable.

  • Skills: Strong communication, time management, and therapeutic planning skills.
