Head of Sales, London, £60,000 - £65,000
I am delighted to be working with a portfolio of versatile event venues who deliver a huge range of events for corporate, private and creative clients. They are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Sales to join them and lead the venue hire sales team. You will be a real people person, full of new and innovative ideas and always thinking outside the box. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the business, working closely with directors to ensure a seamless journey for all customers and clients.
About The Role:
- Managing the sales team to ensure the venues exceed monthly and annual targets
- Taking the lead on higher spend and more complex event enquiries
- Monitor sales performance, analysing the current market and competitor venues
- Identify new opportunities to target using proactive sales and marketing initiatives
- Preparing of monthly and weekly reports and financial forecasting, and feedback reports
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and other promotional activities
- Develop a sales strategy which both retains clients and develops new business relationships
About You:
- Previous experience of managing a sales team within an events venue
- Proven successes with delivering a venue budget
- Experience of managing budgets and financial reporting
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Experience of creating a successful sales strategy
