Graduate History Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting History lessons across a range of year groups
- Assisting students with understanding key historical events and concepts
- Leading small-group interventions and 1:1 support sessions
- Helping to prepare engaging lesson materials and resources
- Encouraging critical thinking, debate, and a love of history
- Supporting classroom behaviour and pupil engagement
- Getting involved in extra-curricular history clubs or enrichment days
Graduate History Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 or above in History, Politics, or a related discipline
- Passion for history and education
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, professional, and proactive mindset
- Ambition to pursue a career in teaching or educational support
