Graduate Unqualified English Teacher - Candidate Specification

KPi Education are on the hunt for a Graduate Unqualified English Teacher who:

• Graduated with a 2:1 or higher in English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing, Journalism or a related subject
• Strong Academics throughout GCSE’s and A-Levels
• Passionate about education and keen to explore a long-term career in teaching or pastoral support
• Empathetic, patient and enthusiastic, ready to support students of all abilities, including those with SEN or additional needs
• Committed to learning on the job, receiving feedback, and working as part of a dedicated school team

Graduate Unqualified English Teacher - Role Responsibilities

As a Graduate Unqualified English Teacher, you will:

• Support the English department across Key Stages 3–5, helping to prepare resources, organise lessons and assist with marking.
• As a Graduate Unqualified English Teacher, you will work 1-1 or in small groups with students who need extra help, supporting literacy development, essay writing and comprehension
• Help create a stimulating classroom environment, encouraging a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking
• Assist with behaviour management, ensuring pupils remain focused and supported in class
