Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant:
KPi Education are searching for a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant who holds:
- A 2:1 or above in a STEM subject (Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science etc.)
- Ideally, prior experience in tutoring, mentoring or working with young people
- A strong academic background (especially in GCSE Maths and Science)
- A long-term desire to work in education
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with secondary-age students
- Patience, resilience, and a calm, solution-focused mindset in the classroom
- A willingness to learn, take feedback and grow professionally
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant:
As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers to provide tailored support for students of all abilities:
- Support the students in lessons, helping them access content and clarify complex concepts
- Working with small groups or 1:1 with pupils who require extra support to reach potential
- Assisting in the preparation of engaging resources
- Helping manages classroom behaviour by being calm and consistent presence
- As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you will act as a positive role model and a trusted adult for students
