We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist specialising in autism within our dynamic Autism Team in Preston, earning up to £26 per hour. What you will do:

• Work effectively within our multidisciplinary team, including Nurses, Social Workers, and a Psychologist, to coordinate outreach and discharge support.

• Engage with autistic individuals who are part of secondary mental health services, to address challenges such as high anxiety and sensory differences.

• Collaborate with mental health and social care colleagues, as well as advocacy and community services, to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and support timely discharges.

• Provide therapeutic inreach services, facilitating a smooth hospital admission and discharge process when necessary.

To succeed in this role, you must be HCPC registered and hold a valid UK driving licence, as travel around Preston may be required.
