We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant Learning Disabilities and Autism Team in the picturesque Bailiwick of Guernsey. What you will do:

  • Manage a defined client caseload using evidence-based and client-centred principles.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions to support individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Maintain professional standards and comply with local policies and legislation.
  • Work autonomously while collaborating with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to set realistic goals.
  • Engage in Continuing Professional Development, clinical audits, and in-service training to keep up with the latest advancements in Occupational Therapy.
  • Contribute to service evaluation and improvements, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Adhere to organisational policies relating to Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, and Health and Safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Evidence of CPD in accordance with HCPC and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) guidelines.
