Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: Person Specification
- Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – Ideal candidate will have achieved 2:1 or higher in Maths or Physics based degree
- Some experience working with young people in some capacity is desirable but not essential
- A can-do attitude as well as an enthusiastic attitude towards learning
- An open nature and the ability to build strong, positive relationships with students
- The ideal Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant for this post will hold a genuine interest in establishing a long-term career in the education sector

As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide both 1-1 and small group intervention sessions to learners across KS3, 4 & 5
- Build meaningful relationships with students that will positively influence their school experience
- Be present in lessons to aid learning outcomes set by the teacher
- Enjoy the opportunity to plan your own tutoring sessions aimed at deepening understandings with a range of learners
- Receive weekly training opportunities to strengthen your educational practice and skillset
This Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant role is full-time. You will follow the school week, working Monday-Friday; 8:30am to 4:00pm daily during term-time.
