Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Nursery Teacher to join a friendly and well-established Primary School in Walsall from September. This is a full-time role to work within the school’s dedicated Early Years provision and is offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Nursery Teacher Role Will Involve:

  • Full class teaching responsibilities including planning, delivering and assessing lessons
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment aligned with the EYFS Framework
  • Monitoring and tracking children’s progress against the Early Learning Goals
  • Working in partnership with parents, carers and colleagues to support pupil development
  • Promoting children's personal, social, and emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting whole-school behaviour and safeguarding policies

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working as a Nursery Teacher, Early Years Teacher, Reception Teacher, or Primary Teacher
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development
  • Excellent behaviour management and classroom control
  • Confidence working in a Primary School setting
  • Good communication, planning and organisational skills
