Nursery Practitioner in Wednesbury, West Midlands

Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant with a love for Early Years? We are recruiting a full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a warm and nurturing Primary School in Wednesbury this September. This  role is ideal for an experienced TA who thrives in an EYFS environment and is confident supporting both play-based learning and early development milestones.

Job Role:

• Full-time Teaching Assistant role supporting children in Nursery
• Work alongside the Class Teacher to implement engaging and purposeful EYFS activities
• Support children with early language, phonics, and numeracy development
• Assist with personal care, routines, and transitions throughout the day
• Observe and record progress using the EYFS framework
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, TA, or Nursery Practitioner in a UK Primary School or early years setting
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
• Confidence supporting children with SEN and EAL
• Experience with the National Curriculum in Reception or Nursery
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years
• A passion for supporting early learning while maintaining a healthy work life balance
