Nursery Teacher in Wednesbury, West Midlands

We are recruiting for a Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming and Ofsted-rated GOOD Nursery School in Wednesbury from September. This Nursery Teacher role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school is seeking an experienced EYFS specialist with a strong understanding of child development and a passion for early years education. The Nursery Teacher role will include:

• Full class responsibilities including planning and marking
• Creating a safe, stimulating learning environment in line with EYFS
• Monitoring and assessing progress against the Early Learning Goals
• Liaising with parents and staff to support children’s development
• Delivering the curriculum with a focus on personal, social and emotional development
• Supporting the school’s behaviour policies and upholding safeguarding standards

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience as a Primary Teacher, Nursery Teacher, Class Teacher, or Early Years Teacher
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework and National Curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom control
• Confident working in a Primary School setting across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and/or Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
