Year 6 Teacher in Nuneaton, West Midlands

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Year 6 Class Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming one-form entry primary school located just outside of Nuneaton.
This is a full-time role within a supportive school environment, where you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and creative lessons. Key responsibilities will include working closely with the class teaching assistant, ensuring the safeguarding of all pupils, marking work in line with the school's policy, and attending relevant meetings as required.
The role is set to begin in September 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate
This Year 6 Class Teacher Role:
Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking.
Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for KS2
Promoting excellent behaviour management and fostering a positive classroom environment.
Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback to support learning.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the educational experience of all students.
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are always followed.
Required Skills and Experience for this Year 6 Class Teacher role
Proven experience teaching in a Primary School setting.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant KS1 frameworks.
Excellent behaviour management skills.
A passion for inspiring young learners and driving academic success.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
