Senior Architectural Technician in Birchwood

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Architectural Technician, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington

Role Purpose:
To support the Civil, Structural & Architectural (CS&A) team by delivering high quality architectural design work for nuclear decommissioning, nuclear new build, and operational projects. The role spans the full project lifecycle from feasibility and concept through to design, construction, and decommissioning.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver architectural design work, inspections, and site support for UK and international projects.
• Produce detailed models and drawings using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary design teams and manage federated BIM models.
• Conduct architectural inspections and surveys, and support project delivery through all stages.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team.
• Ensure safety is considered in all aspects of design and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in the architectural delivery of complex, highly serviced buildings.
• Working towards or achieved CIAT chartership (preferred).
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks with at least 2 years’ project experience.
• Experience in BIM Level 2 environments and familiarity with a wide range of architectural deliverables.
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations and architectural detailing.
• Previous nuclear experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Must be eligible to obtain security clearance.
